This is where Chapter 101 completely won me over.
During the final walk home, everyone talks normally about university and future plans.
Then the perspective shifts.
Without warning, Sunao’s cheerful expression disappears.
His thoughts reveal something far more serious.
He realizes that if they don’t solve the body-swapping curse soon, things could become much worse.
That single moment completely changes the atmosphere.
Instead of asking, “Who will end up together?”, readers are now asking, “Will everyone even get their normal lives back?”
Why I Think Chapter 102 Will Focus on Lemon Again
The editorial teaser at the end of Chapter 101 specifically points toward Lemon’s hidden worries.
Personally, I don’t think that’s accidental.
For several chapters the story has focused heavily on Sunao and Kogahara.
Now it feels like the narrative is naturally circling back toward the person most closely connected to the supernatural mystery.
If I had to guess, Chapter 102 will probably reveal that Lemon has noticed something she hasn’t told anyone.
- Maybe she’s protecting Sunao.
- Maybe she’s afraid of what the curse is becoming.
- Or maybe she already knows something the others don’t.
Whatever the answer is, I doubt she’ll be able to keep it secret much longer.
My Biggest Theory About the Curse
I’ve seen dozens of fan theories online, but one idea keeps making more sense after every chapter.
I don’t believe the body swapping is simply an inconvenience anymore.
I think it’s evolving.

As someone who’s followed Hope You’re Happy, Lemon every week, Chapter 101 feels like one of those chapters that quietly changes an entire series.
