After everything Chapter 273 established, I don’t think Suzuki needs another chapter that is simply “character A fights character B.”

The emotional pieces are already in place.

Chapter 274 has an opportunity to slow down and let the consequences breathe.

Akira has to confront what Nagumo told her.

Sakamoto has to survive.

Shin has to protect everyone.

Nagumo’s condition needs to be addressed.

And Uzuki’s psychological response to Akira’s resemblance to Rion still hasn’t been fully explored.

That’s a lot of material without needing another massive battle.

Final Thoughts

SAKAMOTO DAYS Chapter 273 might be one of the most deceptively important chapters of the Final Battle arc.

On the surface, it’s another ridiculously violent confrontation.

Underneath that, though, Suzuki is dealing with inheritance, trauma, revenge, and the question of whether someone can honor the dead without becoming exactly what they hated.

Akira is at the center of that conflict.
