Tokyo Revengers Season 4 Release Date Confirmed: War of the Three Titans Arc Trailer and Visual Revealed
If there is one anime sequel I have been waiting to see animated properly, it is Tokyo Revengers Season 4. The series has taken fans through time travel, gang wars, betrayals, broken friendships, and more emotional damage than Takemichi probably deserves, but the next chapter looks like it could be the wildest one yet. LIDENFILMS has officially revealed the next season, titled Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc, along with a new trailer, key visual, and confirmed premiere date.
The big date to remember is October 2, 2026. For viewers in the United States and other international markets, the new season is expected to continue its streaming arrangement through Disney+ and Hulu. After seeing the trailer, I completely understand why the anime community has started talking about this arc again. There is a different energy here compared with the earlier seasons, and it feels like the story is finally moving toward its ultimate endgame.

Tokyo Revengers Season 4 Release Date Confirmed
The Tokyo Revengers Season 4 release date is October 2, 2026, putting the series firmly into the Fall 2026 anime lineup. That alone is enough to make the upcoming season one of the more interesting returns of the season, especially considering how much has happened since the anime first introduced Takemichi Hanagaki and his bizarre ability to travel through time.
The new installment adapts the conflict commonly associated with the Three Deities Arc, which manga readers know as one of the most important stages of Takemichi’s journey. This isn’t another relatively contained gang conflict where Takemichi can somehow stumble his way toward a solution. The scale has become much larger, and the people standing against each other are considerably more dangerous.
Honestly, this is the point where Tokyo Revengers starts feeling less like a story about a group of delinquent teenagers and more like a full-scale battle for control of Tokyo’s criminal underworld.
What Happened Before Season 4?
The previous arc left Takemichi in an absolutely terrible position. After the events involving Tenjiku, Mikey makes the painful decision to disband Toman, believing that cutting himself away from his closest friends is the only way to keep them safe. Unfortunately, removing Toman does not solve Mikey’s problems.
Instead, Takemichi eventually discovers a future where Mikey has completely fallen under the influence of his darker instincts. He becomes the leader of Bonten, an organization representing everything Takemichi has desperately tried to prevent throughout his time-traveling journey.
That revelation leads to another desperate attempt to change history.
Takemichi travels back to 2008, returning to his school years and immediately finding himself surrounded by a completely different power structure. This time, the future of Tokyo is being shaped by three major forces, and Takemichi is caught right in the middle.
The Three Titans Fighting for Tokyo
The title War of the Three Titans isn’t just marketing. The central conflict revolves around three powerful groups battling for dominance.
- Kanto Manji Gang — Mikey’s organization, built after the dissolution of Toman. It represents the terrifying direction Mikey has taken.
- Brahman — A mysterious and highly influential gang led by Senju Kawaragi.
- Rokuhara Tandai — A violent organization headed by the intimidating South Terano.
What makes this setup so interesting is that Takemichi isn’t simply choosing one side and fighting alongside them. His real objective remains Mikey.
That creates a pretty brutal problem: how do you save someone who has essentially made himself your enemy?
Takemichi has spent much of Tokyo Revengers trying to prevent tragedies before they happen. Now he has to deal with a Mikey who is far more powerful, unpredictable, and emotionally distant than before.
The New Season 4 Trailer Looks Much More Intense
The newly revealed trailer gives us a surprisingly strong preview of what is coming. The biggest thing I noticed is the atmosphere. Earlier portions of Tokyo Revengers often balanced school life and character drama with sudden bursts of violence, while this arc appears to lean much harder into nighttime fights, criminal organizations, and serious confrontations.
The trailer also puts considerable attention on the new characters entering the anime. There are quick shots of major fighters, tense meetings, and several moments that suggest the production team understands just how important these confrontations are.
The animation will obviously be one of the biggest talking points once the season begins. Tokyo Revengers has always depended heavily on character emotion, but the Three Deities conflict requires convincing fight choreography. If LIDENFILMS can maintain the quality shown in the promotional footage, some of these battles could become highlights of the entire anime.
For me, that is probably the biggest question going into October. The source material gives the studio plenty to work with. Now the adaptation has to make those moments hit as hard on screen as they did on the page.
IGNITE and TRICK STAR Are the New Theme Songs
The music is also getting a major upgrade for the new season.
The opening theme, “IGNITE,” is performed by JO1, bringing a high-energy sound that fits the increasingly aggressive tone of the story. From the trailer preview, the song feels designed for exactly what this arc needs: fast cuts, rival gangs, dramatic character entrances, and a lot of people looking like they are about to punch each other through a wall.
The ending theme is “TRICK STAR” by go!go!vanillas. That choice should provide a different mood after the chaos of each episode, which is something Tokyo Revengers has always benefited from.
A good anime opening can make a season feel bigger than it actually is, and I suspect “IGNITE” is going to be one of those tracks that fans immediately associate with the new arc.
Senju Kawaragi and South Terano Join the Anime
Two characters I am particularly excited to see animated are Senju Kawaragi and South Terano.
Senju is the leader of Brahman and quickly becomes one of the most important figures in this new stage of the story. There is something refreshing about her presence because she doesn’t simply feel like another character added to make the gang roster larger. She has her own motivations, connections, and importance to the larger conflict.
Then there is South.
South Terano is basically what happens when you take the concept of “walking disaster” and give it an enormous human body. He is physically terrifying, aggressive, and absolutely not someone Takemichi wants to meet in a dark alley. His role in the conflict adds a completely different kind of threat because diplomacy isn’t exactly his strongest quality.
These characters also help make the new power struggle feel unpredictable. With Mikey, Senju, and South occupying such different positions, there is no obvious path toward a peaceful resolution.
Takemichi and Mikey Are Still the Heart of the Story
For all the gang warfare, new characters, and massive fights, I don’t think Tokyo Revengers works without Takemichi and Mikey.
Their relationship has always been the emotional core of the series. Takemichi isn’t trying to defeat Mikey simply because Mikey is dangerous. He is trying to save someone he considers a friend, even after that person has become responsible for horrifying events.
That distinction matters.
Takemichi’s greatest strength has never been his physical ability. If anything, watching him get beaten up repeatedly is practically a Tokyo Revengers tradition. His real strength is his refusal to abandon people, even when the logical decision would be to walk away.
And that is exactly why this next arc could be so emotional.
What Fans Are Saying About Tokyo Revengers Season 4
The reaction to the trailer has been mixed in the way I would expect from a long-running anime. Manga readers already know what is coming, so much of the discussion revolves around how the studio will adapt the fights, character moments, and pacing.
Anime-only viewers have a completely different experience because several major developments are still unknown to them. That makes the upcoming season particularly interesting for online discussions, since manga readers are going to have to exercise an incredible amount of self-control to avoid accidentally spoiling the biggest moments.
There is also plenty of debate about whether the anime can regain the enormous mainstream attention Tokyo Revengers enjoyed during its earlier seasons. Personally, I think it has a real chance. The story is entering one of its most chaotic periods, and the combination of Mikey, Senju, South, and Takemichi gives the season plenty of material for viral fight clips and character discussions.
Of course, everything depends on execution.
What to Expect From the October 2026 Premiere
The October 2, 2026 premiere gives fans a clear target after a long wait. The War of the Three Titans Arc brings a new setting, powerful factions, important characters, and a much darker conflict surrounding Mikey.
If you are an anime-only viewer, I would strongly recommend going into Season 4 without searching character names too aggressively. Tokyo Revengers is one of those series where a harmless Google search can turn into a massive spoiler within seconds.
For manga readers, meanwhile, the wait is about seeing those unforgettable moments finally move. And that is where I am most curious. Some scenes that worked beautifully on paper could become genuinely incredible with strong animation, voice acting, music, and direction.
Final Thoughts
Tokyo Revengers Season 4 looks like a serious step toward the final chapter of Takemichi’s story. The confirmed October 2 release date, new trailer, new characters, and Three Deities conflict give the anime plenty of reasons to be excited about Fall 2026.
What I like most about this arc is that the central question has become much harder. Takemichi isn’t simply asking, “Can I change the future?” anymore. He is asking whether he can save Mikey when Mikey himself seems determined to disappear into darkness.
That is a much more personal conflict, and honestly, it is exactly what I want from the next season.
After everything Takemichi has survived, I am ready to see whether he can finally reach Mikey before the future becomes impossible to change.
October 2 can’t come soon enough.
