What surprised me here is that Ephtal isn’t entertaining simply because he’s unbeatable.
He’s entertaining because everyone around him genuinely believes they’re witnessing impossible miracles, while he treats everything as completely normal.
That contrast creates some genuinely funny moments, but it also raises interesting questions about how knowledge can disappear over generations.
It’s a small twist, yet it gives the series more personality than many similar fantasy shows.
Final Thoughts
Even though From Overshadowed to Overpowered Season 2 hasn’t received an official announcement yet, I wouldn’t be worried.
There’s plenty of material left to animate, the first season attracted a solid audience, and fantasy light novel adaptations continue to perform well internationally.
