For most of the manga, Arisu has been the person standing behind everyone else’s ambitions.

• He analyzes.
• He creates plans.
• He expects the girls to become professionals.

But now Shinobu has given him something in return.

She has told him that his dream matters too.

That’s why I think Chapter 131 could end up being one of the more important character chapters in the entire manga.

And Then Arisu Does What Arisu Does Best: Collect Chocolate

Naturally, the manga refuses to end on an emotional note.

Arisu heads home, where Mito sees the four beautifully wrapped boxes of Valentine’s chocolate.

Apparently, Arisu managed to collect gifts from all four girls.

Mito asks if he can have one because Arisu obviously can’t eat everything himself.

Arisu’s response?

The funniest possibility would be Shinobu trying to give it to him normally while remembering everything that happened on the sofa.

Her embarrassment is basically writing itself.

2. The Other Girls Will Want to Know His Favorite

Arisu has four boxes.

There is no way the manga is going to let that situation remain peaceful.

I can already imagine Iko, Nene, Rikka, and Shinobu trying to figure out which chocolate he liked the most.

And Arisu being Arisu, he’ll probably answer in a way that accidentally makes everything worse.

If the manga actually follows through on the astronaut storyline, Chapter 131 may end up being remembered as the moment Arisu stopped being only the guy who helps everyone else chase their dreams and started chasing one of his own.
