That moment feels surprisingly relatable despite the series’ supernatural setting.

The final pages may already be my favorite ending in the manga.

Because Kokone can read Tsubasa’s thoughts, she becomes trapped inside an overwhelming flood of bizarre mental images.

Suddenly everything she’s witnessed throughout the chapter crashes together into one gigantic psychological nightmare.

She isn’t fighting monsters.

She isn’t battling villains.

She’s literally trying to survive someone else’s imagination.

The panel composition becomes increasingly chaotic as animal imagery surrounds her from every direction.

By the time she screams for help before running away, I couldn’t stop laughing.

It’s one of those endings that feels perfectly earned because the entire chapter quietly built toward that emotional explosion.

Why Chapter 7 Could Be Even Better

Chapter 6 answered plenty of questions, but it also opened several interesting possibilities for what’s next.

Personally, I think there are a few directions that make the most sense.

1. Tsubasa’s Outstanding Results Will Draw Attention

Scoring exceptionally well usually has consequences.

Now that everyone has seen how capable Tsubasa actually is, it wouldn’t be surprising if the organization begins trusting him with more important responsibilities.

That could also create some entertaining interactions with investigators who still underestimate him.

2. Kokone Needs a Way to Protect Her Mind

After everything she experienced, there’s almost no chance she’ll willingly read Tsubasa’s thoughts again.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she spends the next chapter desperately searching for methods to block her telepathic ability.

Knowing this manga, every attempt will probably fail in increasingly ridiculous ways.

3. The Zoo Could Finally Become Important

One detail that stood out during Chapter 6 was how often Tsubasa’s memories referenced the local zoo and its employees.

Those weren’t just random jokes.

It feels like the story is quietly setting up a future investigation involving that location.

If Kokone has to meet the real people she already witnessed inside Tsubasa’s imagination, the comedy potential is enormous.
