There is no dramatic battle.

No loud entrance.

Just quiet confidence.

The character even hums cheerfully while moving toward the Princess.

That contrast between playful behavior and horrifying intentions makes the scene much more memorable than a typical overpowered villain introduction.

Then comes the biggest reveal.

Instead of stealing treasure or searching for forbidden documents, the intruder possesses a terrifying recipe for creating Ancient Magical Weapons.

The ingredients are horrifying enough on their own, but one requirement immediately raises the stakes:

The heart of a young royal.

Suddenly the Princess isn’t simply another supporting character.

She’s the central target of an elaborate assassination plan.

Why the Earrings Matter

One small detail immediately caught my attention.

Before anything else, the Princess prepares to remove her earrings.

That feels far too specific to be accidental.

There are several possibilities:

Personally, I suspect the earrings are more than simple jewelry.

That feels too perfect to be coincidence.

Why This Chapter Gives Me More Confidence in the Series

If you had asked me a few chapters ago where Kinato’s Magic was heading, I probably would’ve described it as a fun but relatively straightforward action-comedy.

Now I’m much more optimistic.

Chapter 24 demonstrates three important strengths:

If Chapter 25 delivers on the tension established here, I think it could become the moment many readers look back on as the point where Kinato’s Magic evolved from an enjoyable newcomer into one of Weekly Shonen Jump’s most intriguing fantasy manga. Right now, all eyes are on the royal palace, and I’m genuinely excited to see whether Kinato can arrive before it’s too late.
