This is where I think the word “villain” becomes almost too small.

These aren’t characters simply trying to defeat Rimuru.

Their actions threaten entire civilizations.

And suddenly the question isn’t:

“Can Rimuru defeat this enemy?”

It’s:

“What happens to the world if Rimuru fails?”

That’s a completely different level of tension.

Feldway and Michael challenge his ability to survive on a global scale.

And that, to me, is what makes Season 4 so fascinating.
